For individuals and businesses that are required to deduct <strong>tax at source (TDS)<\/strong> from payments made to employees, suppliers, or vendors, the <strong>TAN is a 10-digit alphanumeric number<\/strong>. On all <a href=\"https:\/\/domore.in\/oldworkplus\/hr-glossary\/tax-deduction-at-source\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>TDS returns<\/strong><\/a>, TDS certificates, and other related documents, holders of <strong>TAN<\/strong>s are required to cite their TAN number. The <strong>NSDL e-Governance website<\/strong> or the designated TIN facilitation centre must be used to submit Form 49B.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3d54430 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3d54430\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The applicant is required to provide <strong>fundamental information<\/strong> on the form, including their <strong>name, address, and contact information<\/strong>, as well as their status (individual, business, firm, or other entity) and the nature of their profession or business. The applicant is also required to provide information about the employee in charge of ensuring TDS compliance. Likewise, the structure requires the candidate to give data with respect to their <strong>TDS instalment<\/strong> subtleties and the sort of instalment they will make (i.e., compensation, interest, profit, and so forth.).
